Bericht aus Uganda

Greetings from Our Children and Our Future Project (OCAOF). We thank you very much for your generous support for the project.

The children are very ok and they are very happy because you are supporting them by paying those schools fees and other necessary requirements. Thank you very much.

Kamukongo Home

The children are all ok and they are very happy because you are supporting them. Thank you very much. Here at home now we have 80 children and they are enjoying the home and on Saturdays they used to go to the garden.

Bweyo Home

Here at Bweyo the children and workers are all fine and everything is going on well. We have received a new Baby called Janat, she has just joined the home, because her life was not good and her health is very complicated even though the family was very poor at all. We thank you for her support. Now the number of the children is 22 and 3 workers. We thank you for your good support in everything.

Birinzi Lab and Health Center

The health unit is in good condition and the staff are also fine even though the work is moving on smoothly. The attendance is now improving. During this period we have received 78 patients, the most treated disease is Malaria. We had 4 referrals; we referred them to Mulago Hospital because they had extensive skin disease which we cannot treat.

Birinzi Farm and Distribution Center

The garden is looking good and the plantations, like coffee, mangos, etc. are good. Only that we have been in sunny season everything is dried, we wish to receive rain, maybe in next months, we hope so, and we hope to get the better yield in the next seasons.

Kinoni Garden

The garden is also good. The coffee, banana, and eucalyptus are good. The coffee, banana are promising, only that we were in the sunny season as well as Birinzi. Generally all the crops lack rain / water in order to get a good harvest in the next season. The sunny season is the big challenge in all the gardens, because every plantation looks dry.  Maybe in the future we hope to get the irrigation system for good harvesting.

Kiwumulo

Kiwumulo garden is ok, only that we are waiting for the Treeo Company to allow us to start preparing the space to plant the food for the OCAOF children and trees as well.

Kitamba secondary school

At Kitamba the students are ok, and they are enjoying their studies.  We are preparing for the end of year final Exams for the students of S.4 .They are preparing to start their UNEB Exams 13th October this year 2025.  We are praying to God to lead them and pass well.

Kitamba technical

Students and teachers are busy with their studies, they also prepare for their UBITEB Exams for the finalist students who are going to complete their courses. We thank you for the big support for the project.

Afrika Point

At Afrika Point we are fine. The work is moving on smoothly.  Only that the unstable electricity is disturbing us and it damages the computers and other machines.  That is a big challenge to us even though the computers are very old. We look forward to getting the new computers for this new generation.

Thank you very much for the big and good support of all the projects. We wish you all the best. May the good Lord bless you always. Greetings to all.

Yours;

Ritah, Rose, Andrew.
